But that’s exactly what we’re afraid of – now more than ever.
In Germany. In Europe.

We celebrate high-tech as long as it doesn’t hurt.
We talk about progress as long as it’s orderly, scheduled, risk-free.
We love to believe the story of 3D printing as
“push-button-innovation” because it’s so convenient:
No risk, no conflict, no fear.
But that’s not how innovation works. Not radical innovation.

WHITEOUT is a fairy-tale image, yes – but one that challenges, provokes, reflects.
She is not an idea from the future. She is a mirror of our present.
She lies there: Beautiful, powerful, but poisoned.
A poison that numbs courage, confuses pioneers, and chokes originality.

Only the blockers, the chimeras, the beasts of innovation,
they are immune. They thrive in process, in planning, in paralysis.
They celebrate when everything stays the same –
just under new labels.
